Education Is The KEY "No Report Cards - No Rodeo"
Montana High School Rodeo Association (MHSRA) members compete at the state level for local recognition and the top
four contestants in each event then qualify to compete in the National High School Finals Rodeo. Members can not
rodeo unless they meet the grade requirement and have submitted their report card to the state Montana High
School Rodeo Association.
Higher Education Scholarship Opportunities
MHSRA contestants have an opportunity to be awarded college scholarships and scholarship assistance for continuing
their educational careers right here at home through financial assistance of our sponsors. 33% of the Net Profit from
the State Finals MHSRA Rodeo will be forwarded to the MHSRA Scholarship Fund; so, the more the Host Committee
makes, the more the kid's will benefit through an increase in available scholarship funds.
Decal Sponsor Program
State Finals Qualified Contestants have an opportunity to off-set their entry fee(s). They can sell a 2' X 2' advertising
decal to a Sponsor for $70.00. For every decal they sell, $20.00 will pay for the decal production and the remaining
$50.00 will be credited toward their State Finals Rodeo entry fee(s). With High School Rodeos being held all over
Montana, sponsors will reap the benefit of Mobile Ad Space, and the decal will Announce a contestants State Finals
qualification.
